I T Ltd (MIT Ltd) was formed in March 1999 by its current owners,
Peter Buckley-Saxon and Graeme Freestone King.
Peter
Buckley Saxon
Peter
has had a long standing interest in IT matters, and has picked up
an awful lot of information since first being involved in IT installation
and management during his time with the Essex Police in the late
1970s.
Peter
saw the potential of the Internet early, and set about teaching himself
the principle and application of HTML. The results of those labours,
plus a meeting in late 1998 with Graeme can be seen at www.cycleweb.co.uk.
Graeme
Freestone King
Graeme
started playing with a Sinclair ZX81 in 1979, and graduated through
a variety of machines as he became interested in programming. Interest
then waned in the face of "distractions" in Further Education,
although this was his introduction, via JANET, to the then "incipient"
Internet.

A
period designing lights for bands in the Rock n Roll business followed, and
with it an interest in digital control systems. A move into the
bicycle trade, and companies that are entirely dependant on good
IT systems for order processing and tracking continued the education
process, up to the point where Multimedia IT was formed.
How
we work
The
web front end design and coding that appears on sites built by MIT
Ltd is Graeme's work, with Peter handling some of the specialist
back-end applications.
Where
there is a need for particular skill set outside company competence,
MIT Ltd calls on one of the partner companies
to assist, or on occasion to take on the whole job. MIT Ltd then
serves as project manager and the "public face" of a network
of specialist providers.
In
this way MIT Ltd is able to offer complete solutions,
not simply web construction, and is able to integrate solutions
with existing applications in a cost effective and timely fashion.
